I think you misunderstood my question. It is not about stopping at all. But wondering how the public will want to have filter between the protrocol and them. And how this could be done for a country without centralised relays.
I think most filters are bad. Your main filter is your follow- and mute list that you curate yourself. Any external filter could become biased and turn into a tool for censorship.
