This was a first.

We saw a skunk across the way and instead of running away, it started running toward us full speed.

I picked up Maverick and started running.

The neighbors with doorbell cameras are gonna have a field day when they see the footage. 😂

I can see them replay it in slow motion, "Whhhhyyyy iss itttt ruuuunnnnninnnng toowwaaard uuuus?!" Fabric from my baggy clothes flailing everywhere.

We got far enough away and I took this zoomed shot.

Next time Maverick finds a "kitty" under a car, it may not be a kitty.

We're all laughing about it now. There probably would have been a longer note and cry for help had we gotten sprayed. It's too funny. It was odd. I'd never been chased by a skunk before.

That would have not been fun at all! I had a skunk come into our campsite 3 times and this was after being shooed away. It kept coming back, and there was probably about 6-8 people there. I was like what is up with this animal 😂😂

I think it was heading to the other side of the property at that time, but I didn't realize it when it was running. It was the oddest thing.

We're all getting a good chuckle about it now.
