Um, gossip isn't doing this "right" either. Someone should tell that gossip guy... oh wait, that's me. Gossip doesn't really have well designed notifications yet (because it doesn't track which posts you have read yet), and it includes the same long chain of replies in your 'inbox' as the other clients do.

But my inbox in Gossip is clean, without the not-related replies that I see in other clients. Magic?

Oh... there is a setting "direct replies only". I forgot about that. I turn it off.
