What I've been telling everyone for years.

Those recurring security "bugs" aren't accidental. Whatsapp isn't a weak or clumsy app. It's an outright MALWARE. One of the worst. In bed with governments of course.

Consider reading this very short article, deleting this piece of 💩 of an app forever, and educating your friends and family.

And the author doesn't go into the actual (horrifying) consequences of getting infected with Pegasus, Predator, and other similar things that spread mainly through WhatsApp.

➡️ Microphone, camera, geolocation, files, apps, mails, banks, ... Absolutely everything is now controlled remotely, and you don't even know it.

Yes, WhatsApp is cute and convenient, but Signal is just as much. Except it's open-source and clean (apart from their scammy shitcoin 🤦‍♂️)

Same goes for all other Facebook apps

➡️ You can delete them and use the website if you still need this crap in 2024. It will be MASSIVELY safer and better for your overall Privacy and Security.

Or just forget about it, but I can guarantee you will regret it down the road.

It's time people start caring.
