I don't intend to make it appear as if I'm judging those who provide prostitution either, just attempting to lay out the landscape to hopefully give a better understanding of the situation.

For clarification, think OF was originally created to give a 'Patreon' like platform for bands to monetize on hardcore fans. They planned on getting back to their roots and soon found out that their revenue would drastically decline as a result.

I know you are not judging either and it does not appear that way. I much appreciate your point of view and the information you provide.

I remember thinking back then that OF was in fact a way for people to follow and support artists fans were that loyal to.

Then again, platforms take shape of their own eventually.

This makes me think that developers in the future, will have to work a lot harder to stay small and in control, if they want their ideas to deliver the product they truly want out there being used. Even if someone else copies them and grow something bigger.

I also understand is hard to resit money and success. It is hard to control markets and demand. Specially the moment vc’s are involved.
