I'm a bit nervous about Nostrasia.

Not about speaking on a panel. I'm nervous about ....

Japanese toilets ... which button does what?

The train from the airport - how do I get a ticket? where does it leave from?

Posted signs that are important to read, since I can't read Japanese

Getting lost somehow and nobody speaking English, and my phone not translating for some reason (connection or otherwise)

Don't @ me

let yourself get lost, the worst that can happen is a unique non mediated experience

Signs in English. Help areas speak English. Ticket machines have English options.

Master

I almost wish it was harder. English is so ubiquitous English speakers have to go way out of their way to feel like they're in a foreign country. I can't imagine traveling to Japan 100 years ago.

thanks

Just remember this button

It means stop

One unfamiliarity is that addresses are not based on street names, but on smaller and smaller divisions/blocks.

I would have these concerns too, but nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac would have just put my mind at ease.

Tokyo rail announcements also in English.

You could skip the trains and take orange limousine bus from airport to hotel area. That’s what I’m doing 😂

Is it real English or Japanese English

Announcements are for train stops in native English

perfect

そか

空港や駅のインフォメーションも英語で書かれているので、困ることはないと思う。

thanks
