OK, so this is an interesting little problem, what's the encounter rate in xD&D?

- OD&D: Every 1 turn, 1/6

- Holmes: Every 3 turns, 1/6

- AD&D 1E: unclear, example suggests every 3 turns, 1/6

- AD&D 2E: DMG, Dungeon Checks, pg. 101: normal: every hour, 1/10; dangerous: every turn, 1/10.

I haven't bothered to look at 3E on, but I know they must say something.
