It's my understanding that the body will choose to metabolize alcohol before glucose. Most likely because alcohol is a poison that the body is choosing to get rid of. Blood glucose is also tightly regulated because a slight raise is deadly. So could it not be that if given the choice between glucose and fatty acids or ketones, the body chooses glucose to remove it from the blood as quickly as possible?

Nonsense, head straight to the local community college and take biology 101, then keep going on that track for 2 years of proof of work. It’s so maddening seeing people give folks Cancer advice when they are absolutely fucking clueless about biochemistry. Chemo is fucking horrendous because of the challenge in Targeting cancer cells, the collateral damage is often overwhelming. Thinking you can just “starve” cancer with your diet is reckless advice and he should stop selling that shit.

I got fucking hooked by Ben, and I need to just give up now. ✌️

Has the Warburg Effect been disproved? Did I miss that journal article?
