Words to myself to start the New Year: Been on a mostly 3 week work and mental shutdown over the winter break. Gave me time to reflect and brainstorm about what I want to accomplish in 2024 and what part of this is related to Nostr. It's been over a year now since I first came here, and strangely the reception to some things I've built has seen more resistance than I've felt from other web based platforms in the past 25+ years. I'll leave it at that and not dive further as that's just how it goes. Trolls, keyboard cowboys, and the internet have always gone hand in hand whether intentional or not. I've more or less always been seen as the underdog my whole life, the one not expected to amount to anything, the dark horse candidate, etc. The more you ignore or attack me, the more I will push harder. I have a feeling many of you here are the same way since Nostr isn't your normal platform and many came here to get away from the norm.

Truth is, I like Bitcoin and have been buying and using it since 2011. I just personally don't feel like talking about it 24/7 so I focus on offering "other stuff". I'm not a Nostr dev, I'm an everything dev. I like doing it all too much and don't feel like limiting myself to one thing. It's been a blast building stuff here and I don't really care if someone doesn't like it. That's the beauty of a decentralized platform. Say what you want and I can do what I want. I'll be around for another year building stuff my way for the people like myself. Trivia and other games will also still be around awarding Sats as well even when zaps have slowed to a trickle.

Considered not posting this, but felt like giving a little public pep talk for myself before I dive into some insane stuff I plan to do this year. Can't wait to share. Cheers to you all.
