Hope you all are having a great day. I’m new to #nostr and still trying to figure everything out. I was hoping someone from this fantastic community can help me. Is there any work around to send zaps if I’m using Primal on iOS and therefore don’t have the option of connecting to a NWC wallet?

And I can’t activate the native primal wallet due to “geographical” reasons.

I want to be able to pay it forward and zap fellow plebs. Any advice is appreciated.

I've been using the Primal built in wallet. Keep like 10k sats on that... Top back up by sending from your other lightning wallet to the Primal wallet. That way you can zap and receive zaps with small amounts.

There's smaller counterparty risk that way.

From what I’ve gathered so far looks like I either have to switch clients to something like Damus, where I can then connect my external wallet within the app itself

if I want to continue using the Primal app I have to just send sats the old fashioned way by clicking on someone’s profile to reveal their LN address and open my external wallet. But with this method I can’t seamlessly send zaps to interact with specific notes/replies.

How do I adjust my zaps on amethyst? I can only zap 100 sats 1000 or 10k .

Not sure but you can test it on my wallet cause I've recieved but 1 comment since coming back to nostr. First time around didn't know anything and got like 5 bucks from random advertisement zaps. Now I see japanese posts and never anyone to follow me back. Plus I heard wallet of satoshi doesn't work in the u.s but that's what I used before and haven't recieved any messages about it not working so I still have it linked.

Do u run a node on umbrel or start9. Because u should be able to connect alby hub& Nostr. Personally I use zeus connected to my umbrel for unchained or lighting and alby is just for lighting
