Only thing I can think of (from a non-tech perspective) is that it’s great to be able to say to the world “there are _____ thousand reachable nodes”,
and the higher the number the better to ‘prove’ bitcoin’s decentralization..
I always add “and many thousands of unreachable nodes”, but not as impressive, since its obviously a guess
