Today’s experiment: candied Lake Trout. Overnight in a marinade of gin, kosher salt, black pepper, and maple syrup and now onto the Traeger, full of competition blend and whiskey barrel pellets. I’ll send pics of the final result!
My friend is between houses and left this smoker with me for a few months. I’d typically be using just my PK Grill charcoal smoker for this. I can’t see myself ever buying a $2500 grill that relies on electricity and a connection to my wifi router to operate fully lol. That cash would be going into BTC or a new rifle.
