Brugmansia ‘Betty Marshall’ showing out in the loquat bed. One of my favorite flowers. All of the existing Brugmansia species are known only as garden plants or garden escapees, so they are yoked to us for better or worse. Such beautiful plants, with an intoxicating aroma and matching body of tropane alkaloids. The domesticated, perennial, tree-like, pendulous flower and spineless seed-podded angelic counterpart to the wild, annual, shrubby, erect flower and spiny seed-podded devil Datura. Angel and devil, full of the same poisons 🤔🥂#brugginout #Brugmansia #brugmansiabettymarshall #angeltrumpet #urbangardening #gardenmetaphors #deeperthandepakchopra #iknowgodpersonally #infactsheletsmecallherme
