Agreed. My concerns are with all of the people in my life that are careless about their privacy slowly being removed. There are so many people with an attitude of “they can have my data, I don’t have anything to hide”. It makes me think that something has to break catastrophically.

Totally, and it could get really ugly. I’m not sure nostr is all that private at the moment. A better privacy tool would use key pairs and encryption to connect peer to peer, or would batch messages through a mixer so it isn’t clear who is messaging who and when
