I use a mixture of those two for almost every game
Lots of homebrew thrown in and inspiration from Vermis
Use the hexflower system to manage alot of random shit like weather, how angry a village is with the players, how close a villain is to building their doomsday device. Shit like that.

I also typically have a random chance of meeting a mythical travelling merchant at any given location whereupon the players can pay through the teeth for an item from this deck.

It's another osr 'retro clone' -ish thing of the original 3 DND booklets. For pen and paper too. I just got it. Waiting for delivery.

I dont do online rpg stuff unforunately for you.
Same reason I dont play online poker, takes away alot of the charm of playing.
Retro clones are great, backwards is definitely forwards in my opinion. Went to shit when the corporations got involved.
