Do you remember the first book you read where you were blown away and thought Wow, Books Are Awesome!

Mine was Communion by Whitley Strieber when I was 19.

The hobbit. Hands down. First actual pleasure book I read that wasn't involved with school.

Awesome 🤘

Slaughterhouse-Five

Oh yeah!

Atlas Shrugged

I was also 19

Wow, solid 👍

Bunnicula by James & Deborah Howe. I was in second grade and got it as a birthday gift. Loved it so much I convinced my teacher to add it to the curriculum...which happened again in AP English junior year of high school with Chuck Palahniuk's Invisible Monsters.... 😂

Awesome! 🤘

Gold Steps, Stones Steps by Paul Margulies. It's a childrens' book, it was one of the very first I ever checked out with my very own library card. I loved the book. The illustrations were phenomenal. I was 6?

By the time I was 10, I had The Great Gatsby, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, A LOT of Poe, Lovecraft, etc under my belt.

Awesome 🙏
