A few of my programmer colleagues insist that not being able to code will soon be the new illiteracy. I wonder how accurate they are on that assertion. 🤔

That’s an interesting argument. Are they at all concerned about chat gpt or other ai being able to “code” at much faster speeds than humans?
Idk, I’d have to ask them. The conversations aren’t usually much about as in for a job. I don’t think it’s so much “being able to for a living” as much as being able to for life, if you know what I mean.
Completely. I have two brothers who are high level nerd programmers - I have a similar discussion with them.
