Yes not too many people will be running their own nodes! But with the current BOLT12 implementation and for example Zeus lightning address feature it’s not hard to set up and receive your sats ! Pain connects us all. So bolt 12 enables zap integration? Then you link it to your zeus wallet where you point to your full node running somewhere? Did i get that somewhat right?

You already can zap from your none custodial wallets. Yes it will be not a few clicks. Also, you can try Zeus lightning adress but you will have to pay fees. Or paste your bolt12 in bio and if someone says I cant zap you just give an invoice. Or run your own node.

Yes, there are trade offs but in the end you are in control of your sats and you are not sending IOU.
