Officials say the island is apocalyptic: The wildfires raging out of control in Maui are so catastrophic, some residents are jumping into the ocean to escape the flames. The Coast Guard is rescuing those in the water.
Emergency crews are having difficulty helping in the infernos.
911 & cell service is down, power outrages, people trapped & burn patients have overwhelmed hospitals.
