Oh 100%. All am saying is that for many businessmen, there's no consequences. Probably why Adam Smith made some pretty disparaging comments about publicly traded companies. Fiat corrupts the ownership of consequences and permits corruption that passes cost on from the responsible parties to the general population.

Exactly. Any Rand wrote before we simply threw all accountability out of the window. Whilst her commentary still stands, the principles espoused require a return to the idea of accountability somewhere. Seems rather hard to find
I agree to a point. Small business owners and entrepreneurs still go out of business and lose money when they don't make sound business decisions.
It's only the massive companies with political affiliations that get bailed out.
