On iOS, Damus this opens default email client
I have always hated that interaction 😂 considering i never change my defaults and it opens apple mail which i don't even use. Normalize defaulting to copy or pop open to pay! haha
Hm maybe there is a way for damus or other nostr clients to default open email address format as zap payment instead. I’ll document this on #damus github.

nothing... there's no way of knowing that it's an LN address versus and email address or even a NIP-05 ID. maybe pretending with the lightning: event handler could be used?

you'd need to install and configure LNbits or BTCPay server, but you also need to do a little more work to get that to all function. LNURL needs a web server to handle requests. You would have to forward ports on your router for this. It can be done, it just doesn't work without a bunch of additional steps.
