I love Turkish burek, are these the same thing, savory pastry made with phyllo dough?
Yes pretty much the dough is similar, however the taste and recipes are different in each region, probably cause of the local ingredients.
I'm going there in 2wks and will be posting some foodies :-)

I remember hearing the story of how Greece sued Bulgaria over the use of the name "feta" for what is arguably a better version of their prized national cheese. Why can't we all just get along and enjoy each other's cuisine? 😆
