When you stop and think about it - violence or power projection secures everything in the physical world but in the digital environment violence or power projection can only secure OTHER digital property but any digital claim on PHYSICAL property cannot be secured because it’s subject to violence in the physical domain.

Case in point- you place a ownership of physical land on some sort of digital ledger. Bad guy walks over and kills you and takes physical possession of the land. Digital ownership of the physical land means nothing UNLESS physical violence is mustered to defend the digital claim.
