I just wanted to zap you some Sats for your great decision, but received an error message. You've postet a Lightning invoice in your nostr profile.

Those only work once and can be posted in a normal nostr post to be paid by whoever wants to pay for your invoice.

However they don't work as a permanent tipping or "zapping" addresses, as nostriches call it.

Those lightning addresses include an "@" and can be obtained for free by several custodial services , such as the "Wallet of Satoshi", a Bitcoin and lightning app for mobile devices, and getalby.com , which is a Webbrowser extension for Firefox and Chrome that offers several ways to use lightning wallets of all kinds in your browser. There's also a custodial lightning wallet by alby, I'm using it, too. You can have a look at my profile to see it.

If you're running your own lightning node you can host your own lightning address, which is fantastic regarding safety and privacy, but it's also way more complicated... You would find several how-to guides on that topic, if you are interested to look into it though.
