I think the economy is starting to face a tightening of sorts, people are liquidating assets for what reason I'm not sure.

To pay off debts, to keep the good times rolling, or to keep the lights on/stay afloat, or just pure fear, and speculation?

All I can say is I wish these downturns didn't happen when money was tight.
