Teammates, help each other.
Yall are not helping me with a raise for the value I provide at work, to help me own a home.
Therefore, we are not actually TEAMMATES are we...

I don’t know enough about fiat work to speak intelligently but it sounds like a common issue I’ve seen in almost every workplace … and horror story I’ve generated before. 😂

A slave and master relationship
The thing is, you should. Not necessarily directly for the raise, but for example in tech, business has a way of delivering avalanches to tech teams, so a strong team can deflect a lot more bullshit and deliver value. And well performing teams is what they want.
Problem is, if the team members don't get that, then you're screwed.
