Thoughts on having a sub-key:

I would like to explore a nostr job finding marked place like LinkedIn and Upwork together, but because we want to use Nostr and the private keys to log-in and create a Job seeking profile.

The problem I see right now is when using relays at the moment, employers could easy see on your pubkey all your free time activity postings (maybe less good)

It would be amazing if there were some pre-stats on your profile like a trust score etc. but not all your personal data.

I guess there could be always an option to choose if you want your profile to be visible.

So I would need a sub-Key connected to my private key in order to have my nostr profile in a potential job market place or Shop selling.

Then this sub key is your Job seeking profile with all your sub data saved on the relays.

Question? Is it possible? #asknostr #helpme nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s

or actually using the sub-keys were you don’t trust a new client and you don’t want to share the all of your Profil with them ?

Does this even make sense?

I think, a sub-key would only make sense, as of now, if it's for organisational reasons. Like, if you want to have a job profile without spamming it with personal stuff. However, borrowed trust in this case likely only works, if there is some way for the public to transparently see, how your sub-key is actually connected to your other key.

If you want to actually *hide* personal information, I cannot see how this would work, when you create a new profile based on the private key for your personal profile which contains compromising information. You would need to create a new profile for this to work.

At least these are my thoughts based on my assumptions. I'm far away from being a #Nostr expert, so there is a realistic chance, I might be wrong here.

Is akito a personage?

You could maybe put everything into the client so that in order to access any information, you need to ask the client. In those 1 on 1 communications, it might be pretty feasible. From my understanding, only with mass broadcasting and interaction, a relay is really needed for information exchange right?
