I loathe all of those modern stacks haha, but of course they can be very effective…

Binaries that work on all major distros as they are, well I do tolerate those, like Sparrow :-)

Yeah, I'm not an expert or programmer but flatpak, snaps looks like a fiat thing IMO. Making too much compromises in order to make things easier for newbies.

AUR is the "flatpak" that works good IMO.

Maybe… But still I’m tempted to go the other way, starting to compile from source when it comes to important things like wallets!

Of course running QubesOS makes that a LOT easier in so many ways :-)
