Replying to fc994dc4...

I don't like the flatpak setup of purism in the L5, if activated it default to install programs from it and not from apt. If you install something from gnome-store, if the package is in apt and fltpak repos it will install the flatpak. Better to deaktivate flatpak, even being a forked purism version, I still don't like flatpaks. Am I missing something?

I loathe all of those modern stacks haha, but of course they can be very effective…

Binaries that work on all major distros as they are, well I do tolerate those, like Sparrow :-)

Yeah, I'm not an expert or programmer but flatpak, snaps looks like a fiat thing IMO. Making too much compromises in order to make things easier for newbies.

Maybe… But still I’m tempted to go the other way, starting to compile from source when it comes to important things like wallets!

Of course running QubesOS makes that a LOT easier in so many ways :-)
