Is it normal for my Bitaxe to fall to 0 hash rate? Sometimes it's just a second and others times could be an hour or more.

That doesn’t seem normal. My one has never done that anyway. It sometimes reboots after running for a week or so but never stops hashing when it’s running. It could be fluctuations with your WiFi.
