in Hindu vantage - Bramh is created by Vishnu and is fully understood by Siva.. Vishnu is the creator and Siva is one who governs the creation . Creation is #Bramh - it includes past present and future , thus continuum is an appropriate word ..
following eternal rules of creation is this Bramhcharya . Celibacy is just a means to the end .. a very important part though ..
in Gita , chapter 3 - Krishna tells Arjuna - Bramh Akshar Samudbhvam - means Bramh is created from immutable . .. immutable is Vishnu .. somewhat like Bitcoin ledger :-)
