Like bitcoin, it's open source and without central control - it follows the "rules without rulers" ethos.
Companies I could see needing to use traditional social networks still though, but individuals who don't want to be prayed upon and shilled to at every turn would probably enjoy less noise and more signal over here.
Those are all reasons to use nostr, not to ditch traditional social media
Who will purple pill the trad market if we're all "nostr-only" signalling?
