My wife has been teaching me how to trail ride on horseback
She is trying to get my skill level up enough so we can take the horses camping. It's been a fun way to experience the trails with the higher vantage point and the ability to look around more freely as the horses walk along. Great for observing nature! The horses don't spook the wildlife as much as hiking on foot. We rode right up close to a couple fawns and mamma doe on this ride.
