I was never a fan of these. I just kept a few CDs in the glove box or used my iPod Classic.

I had one of the visor holders that kept about 10 on standby

I had bootable GNU/Linux distros mixed in πŸ˜‚

Better safe than sorry. I used to keep a copy of SpinRite all over the place.

I still do this with a couple USBs, but I haven't had to rescue my OS in some years. I mostly use them as backup tools now. Good times.

Cant even load CDs into stuff these days.

They'd always get stolen from my car, cost me a lot of windows AND cd's.

Because of a CD wallet like this one I still have my data from 2008. It was preserving things way before I realized how important backups are.
