⚡️📻 NEW - A developer unveils an open source hackathon project "Darkwire" enabling #Bitcoin transactions without Internet access via a long-range radio.

Transactions hop from node to node until they reach an Internet-connected exit point that broadcasts over the Bitcoin network.

Developer "Cyber" explained that Darkwire may be necessary or desirable in situations where traditional communications infrastructure, such as the Internet, power grid or cellular networks, is "unavailable or controlled".
