The State itself is a religion.
Discussion
"Religion can be defined as a comprehensive belief system that addresses the fundamental questions of human existence. Such as the meaning of life and death, man's role in the universe, and the nature of good and evil. And that gives rise to duties of conscience."
-- By Ben Clements, writing for Cornell Law Review (1989)
Government had no business preaching these things.
The state should only exist to keep individuals and groups of prople from forcing their will (and beluefs) on other individuals and other groups of people.
