Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious inventor of bitcoin, embedded a message in the first block of the bitcoin blockchain: "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks". This was a clear statement against the corrupt and inefficient financial system that caused the 2008 crisis.
