A hell of a lot more than $75K.

I always thought the appropriate bail amount is one where forfeiting the money is a worse penalty than getting convicted of the crime, so in a sense, the bail should be set to the level where prosecution is indifferent to whether the accused shows up.

I am against bail, I am for speedy trials.
