AI certainly cannot evolve on its own. We have yet to find evidence that inanimate objects like computers, phones, and other things evolve. Software updates and hardware improvements are NOT evolution.

Idk why you keep going in circles. Before you speculate on AI enslaving humanity, find evidence that suggests AI is even aware of what it is doing. AI is just a large database of information. That’s it. It is no different from Google and other search engines. They are just large databases of information. Sure AI is more advanced and can do more things with that information but it’s still just a glorified database.
