we are planning to have different "tiers" of badges in https://badges.page depending on NIP-13 PoW difficulty, adding PoW is a nice way to add "rarity" to badges imo.

I get the PoW angle.

Rarity will also come from trusted issuers, with verifiable supply.

So #[5] could issue based on verified card ownership.

#[6] could issue based on verified Sats-Man high scores.

We need a way to surface non-computational PoW scarcity.

I loved Fiatjaf's idea of sourcing POW from bitcoin mining. Meaning that miners get a request for mining x hashes in exchange ofr y SATs.
