At my first Meetup a pretty young European girl offered to buy me a drink. I politely declined because I thought her to be a scammer & I was pretty paranoid. Turns out she was a girlfriend of one the younger Bitcoiners.

I laugh at it now but I still think it was the correct move. I've learned to trust my intuition & it's rarely let me down.
