Going to give a talk about bitcoin to parents and children at a world schooling hub in Vietnam.

What would your key points be?

30min presentation. All westerners. No orange-pilled person, just a few “I also invest in bitcoin” kind.

Depends on what your goal is?

Plant an orange-pill seed.

Ok, then you can’t drop that the world is run by a corrupt cartel feeding them persuasive “facts” to control their minds and steal all their life energy.

But since these are families, you could try to get them with stories about children. Don’t try to address their greed or fear, rather choose empathy for children in Nigeria that used to have a real hard life but now it’s better because of bitcoin.

I would also suggest to think of something to come up with for the children. If you get them to want to own bitcoin, their patents will follow 💯. Maybe provide (made up) examples of children using bitcoin as their piggy bank which only they control. Describe how these children feel doing it. How they help others (children in nigeria) with their engagement. Make them wanting to have their own wallet. The rest will follow then.

Just some ideas but maybe it helps you 🙏🏻🧡

Great. I think explaining the characteristic of sound money and why it matters with easy to understand examples would be a good topic to include.

Make them understand that it helps to make the world fairer in a way that almost everyone can get access to saving something valuable that doesn’t lose it’s value from one year to another. Plus it’s cool 😎.. however I wish you a good time over there and hope you have a great time with your presentation.

Difficult task. Help them understand the brokenness with the current money system and the impact it has on everyday citizens in Vietnam and around the world.

Focus on the usage experience. Create a self custody wallet, send, receive. No middlemen and then go into how their energy (labor) is stored and no one can devalue it.

Oh, and I think Vietnamese people do send remittances, so maybe also the costs compared to a traditional remittance?

Nice mate 🤙 Great opportunity, hope it goes well!

There’s still a culture of gold in Vietnam. And I’ve heard stories from the Australian Vietnamese community about the importance of gold getting their families on boats to get out.

Might be an audience of westerners but they know how important money can be there, hard money will protect those kids futures whatever may come.

The chance for kids to learn about money is huge for Bitcoin. They’re the ones who will be most heavily effected by the debt spiral but if they learn another way, that’s where hyperbitcoinisation can come.

Asian friends in the UK, when there is a marriage GOLD is given to the wife (not sure who by, certainly some from the grooms side) and that is hers.

Always.

It's her running away money, her money to help raise her kids if the guy turns out to be waster etc.

Because gold has a high value to portability ratio. And doesn't need access to banks.

Even in Europe, today, most people over 50 had grandparents alive in the war, and a load of them had to run for their lives.

Would be fun to see user defined bitcoin seeds*. Gold can be taken off you by bandits and border guards (often the same people)

Y'all gonne tell me they exist already aren't you :-)

You could include that the us left the gold standard about the same time as they "assisted democracy" in Vietnam.

Explain to them how their Vietnamese money works and is created issues etc. it’s so bad they will be worried.
