I was thinking about a nostr IMDb. And it was suggested that maybe this sort of thing could go in wikifreedia. In this case instead of film title it would be books.

Likewise it wouldnt have the functionality of To Read/Watch lists, ratings etc

That would be a start, but the rating and list types are pretty central to the functionality of what I would consider the core of the app.

But that's also why I'm curious if the FOSS version couldn't be forked and nostr stuff slammed into it. That's way above my abilities, except for my dreaming it up.
