It was a nice time visiting distant family on short notice for a week. But I'm flying home tonight to spend Christmas at home with family that lives where I do!

While visiting I watched a few Christmas movies with my Mom. It was nice.

Klaus (on Netflix)

Anna and the Apocalypse (I brought a copy)

The Polar Express (Hulu)

Violent Night (Prime Video)

All great movies. Can't wait until they decide to reimagine the 3D video of The Polar Express but keep the same audio. It's CGI! We can remake only the video.

Anna and the Apocalypse is probably the movie least known in the list. I saw it in theaters with my sister during it's limited release years ago and we both fucking loved it! We never hear anyone talk about it really, flew under most people's radar and fell off the map when it went out of theaters. (Too bad, it's a really great movie.)

Looking forward to the flight home tonight and opening what seems like a million gifts between the 9 of us that'll be there tomorrow! Of course I'm looking forward to the fun and time spent with loved ones more than the gifts, that's only part of the fun.
