I’m surprised by seeing every single account on global has zaps enabled. I have to assume a decently large group of these people especially from Asia were not using bitcoin only a few months ago

Lol what are you assuming? I saw more interest in btc in Asia than in North America. A lot of pyramid schemes in Asia were using btc ~2014.

It was banned in China in 2020 which is much more recent. Less surprising when you put it that way though

You could use something like LNbits.com to setup an anonymous wallet and then create thousands of unique LNURL-pay links that all pay into the same wallet. Link each one to a different Nostr profile and collect tips. Wouldn’t show as actual zaps on the posts, but it would function for receiving tips.
