“We need” usually means “I want” and if you rephrase someone’s statement when they say “What we need is…” to “What I want is…” then it makes a lot more sense and you start to understand their motivations better.
Yep. Like when people say something is "good" or "evil" they really mean "beneficial" or "detrimental".
