Hopefully not... But that's always the one that people will fall for, the one that seemingly can't be normalized. All it will take is a pilot program, the right goodies/incentives and people will be happy to "test" out the new system... The people that do this stuff to us, know exactly how to manipulate us into it... The first phase was the movies that depicted how horrible/controlling/subversive (Eagle Eye, etc.) such technology would be. That was the denial/anger phase(s). Now that we're through that, we're ready for the despair (big tech push) and acceptance (rewards) phases... I wouldn't doubt if they're testing CCTV systems combined with muzak manipulation right now...

Ick. Agreed. All of these biometric methods for authentication continue to train people to just give it away. You'd think people would learn from the constant breach and leak data with all of their KYC data, now we will add your face scans or whatever else (DNA sequence ?) we will have to give away. Also, the more governments and services request/require facial scans the less we will be able to decline.
