"Let me ask you to remember some day that I have told you that the hatred of evil strengthens evil, and opposition reinforces what is opposed. This is a law of an exactitude equal with the laws of mathematics.”

This must be what they were talking about when they talked about “balance in the Force”

Not tracking with Fraser on this one. To love is also to hate. If I love life, then I hate murder. If I love children, I hate pedophilia and the murder of them (whether in the womb or not). If I love mankind I hate rape, murder, and theft. To love what is good is to hate what is evil.

There is no apathetic middle ground to wicked things. Either we stand against them or we approve of them.

“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.”

Romans 12:9

“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects…”

1 Corinthians 13:6-7
