I’ll never forget when my dad called me just “another baby in a basket”.

That’s when I decided to forge my own path. And dig for my own oil.

I find it wild how some people treat their kids. as you said. forge your own. makes you less unfuckwithable if you harness it a better person when it comes to treating others with respect.

He repented though. Publicly, at our local church, but I don’t think he meant it.
