Agree. Really feel bittersweet about his suicide. Although we were acquaintances and worked together, I was not close enough to him at that point to have intervened. When he killed himself, there was a long parade of "friends" riding on the coattails of his death very publicly for their cause. And, its still happening.
Scihub is really doing what he set out to do, best: maximally sharing scientific research to the world. And, without a doubt, this has allowed Chinese developers to build for much cheaper than Western guys who have artificial barriers in their thinking. Deepseek and Bitcoin mining chips would NOT be possible without Scihub.
With that being said, if I find a way to honor Aaron, will do my best.
Now on someone close to me, I have more on the way.
