Though from a relative engagement perspective, nostr beats X by a wide margin. If nostr reaches a million weekly active users, I bet my absolute nostr engagement will surpass X engagement.
X is also overcrowded with bots. It's hardly worth reading any replies to a post
On top of that, you get shadow banned if you express an opinion that doesn't suit the moderation policy at the moment
i think the bots must number over 50%, they use chatgpt too
shadow banning varies from deranking posts, like into 'probable' spam or offensive to completely hiding them, also search bans on names and posts
its a shitheap with no freespeech
